Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the 4 East Medical-Surgical Unit. The role is a full-time night shift (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule, rotating weekends and holidays as described.

The unit supports telemetry for up to 25 patients and provides care across a range of acute conditions, including pneumonia and stroke. Applicants must hold a Diploma, an Associate degree or a BSN (preferred) and hold an RN license with BLS; multi-state license is

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include Diploma Program or an Associates Degree; BSN preferred.
• No prior work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates direct nursing care based on patient needs and hospital standards.
• Administers prescribed treatments and medications safely and independently.
• Manages time and priorities to respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver patient-centered care.
• Documents patient responses and progress using EMR and flow sheets.
• Demonstrates professional growth, safety, and quality in daily practice.
