Job summary

Endeavor Health's Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical Observation Unit Night shift to join our full‑time team. You will perform patient assessment, collect health data, and coordinate plans of care with the care team.

Responsibilities include clear communication with patients, families and staff, ongoing nursing practice evaluation, and maintaining knowledge of current standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or BSN required.
• Current IL nursing license required.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families and staff in person, by phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment results.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and maintains current nursing knowledge.
