Job summary

Lake Huron Medical Center in Port Huron, MI seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Medical/Surgical Unit. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, and collaborate with physicians and the care team.

This part-time night position requires current RN license, BLS, ACLS (ACLS preferred), and prior acute care experience; BSN preferred. The hospital is part of Prime Healthcare and offers a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement and evaluate).
• Direct patient and family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and care team.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
