Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources.
