Signature HealthCARE of Norfolk seeks an RN for a full-time night shift to deliver direct nursing care in a 169-bed facility. You’ll administer medications, assist with ADLs, supervise CNAs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maintain resident comfort and safety.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, CPR/BLS preferred, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience with long-term care preferred.

Competenze

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations.

Mansioni

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift in accordance with facility policies and regulations, as applicable.
• Monitor and observe residents’ physical and emotional status; notify the attending physician and responsible party of any change in condition.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility policy and procedure.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges according to established procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, staff education, and regulatory surveys as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee.
