Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift to deliver routine nursing care in a skilled facility. You will assess care plans, monitor vital signs, administer medications, assist with admissions, and coordinate with physicians and families, all while maintaining privacy and dignity for residents.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 1 year of skilled nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Valid CPR and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to use computer or tablet to enter resident data.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop resident care plans.
• Ensure nursing care is provided with privacy.
• Check vital signs.
• Dressing wounds.
• Passing out medications.
• Assist with admissions.
• Make rounds with physicians.
• Starting IVs.
• Communicate with residents and families.
• Document resident progress notes.
• Support LVNs and CNAs.
• Maintain equipment in good operating order.
• Monitor residents at risk for falls.
• Collect lab samples.
• Adhere to infection control policies.
• Report exposures to supervisor.
• Participate in annual in-service training.
