Job summary

Wellstar Health System's Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Georgia is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (3/12s) totaling 36 hours weekly. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the patient care team.

The role requires active nursing licensure (NLC or single-state) and appropriate certifications, with opportunities to advance through performance improvement and Shared Governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Bachelors Nursing or Masters Nursing-Preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; BLS Instructor preferred.
• Registered Nurse license: Single State or multi-state compact (NLC) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the care team.
• Assess patient conditions, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Communicate patient needs and care plans to family and staff, ensuring confidentiality.
