Job summary
Sharp HealthCare in California seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families. The role requires CA RN licensure, BLS, NIHSS certification, and at least one year of clinical experience.
The incumbent will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care. The RN will apply the nursing process, demonstrate clinical leadership, and support patient education and discharge planning within a fast-paced unit.
Qualifications
- Graduate of nursing school.
- 1 Year clinical experience (RNs with less than 12 months experience will complete the new grad requirements).
- California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families.
- Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and patient/family.
- Apply nursing process and critical thinking to patient care.
- Mentor and precept other nurses on unit-specific practices.
- Document care and ensure compliance with standards and policies.
