Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment or compact license.
• BLS required.
• 1–2 years experience as RN or GN permit holder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides comprehensive nursing care.
• Directs and supervises LVNs/LPNs, nursing assistants, and unit staff.
• Develops and updates nursing care plans and evaluates patient progress.
• Performs and documents procedures safely and accurately.
• Educates patients and families; acts as a preceptor and mentor to staff.
