Job summary

Prisma Health Richland Hospital's Children’s Emergency Center in Columbia, SC seeks a qualified RN to provide direct patient care for newborns to age 17 in a dynamic pediatric emergency setting. The unit operates inside the adult ER and features 13 beds, requiring adherence to nursing processes, safety protocols and quality initiatives.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree in Nursing and an active RN license; one year of RN experience is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Night shift availability and flexibility

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to pediatric patients in the emergency center.
• Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Document and communicate patient status and care plans.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
