Job summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Acute Care on the night shift. This onsite role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient education, and collaborative care to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, maintain precise records, and tailor care to each patient’s values and needs, while supporting a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma Nursing or ADN from an accredited school.
• RN license in the State of Ohio by time of hire.
• BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire; PALS within 90 days; NRP within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintain accurate, timely reports and records.
• Individualize care based on patient values and needs.
• Collaborate with other health care providers to achieve best outcomes.
• Educate patients and families from admission to discharge.
• Support culture of safety and respond to emergencies.
• May require longer hours per offer letter or transfer requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
