Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse for night shift in a clinical setting. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, perform assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, and delegate tasks to the care team as needed.

Responsibilities include documenting patient history and treatments, addressing psychosocial needs, and educating patients and families. A BSN is preferred and BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications are required or pursued upon hire.

Qualifications

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Administers medications using established protocols; monitors effects.
• Documents patient history and care provided; upholds safety standards.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers on care plans and resources.

Responsibilities

• Applies ANA standards in assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Addresses complex psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Documents history, symptoms, medications, and care given.
• Performs education on learning needs for patients and families.
