CHRISTUS Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide comprehensive care in the specified clinical setting. The nurse will demonstrate independence, manage long-range goals, and delegate appropriately to other care providers to support patient care.

The role requires RN licensure in Texas or a compact state, BLS, and preferred BSN; AR/LPN experience is valued. The shift is 7PM to 7AM, and orientation and ongoing competency validation are provided.

Formación

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitors side-effects.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given.
• Offers education to patients, families, and caregivers; identifies issues and resources.

Responsabilidades

• Nurses in this role provide care per ANA Scope and Standards.
• Ensure proper patient assessments and care planning for assigned patients.
• Delegates tasks appropriately to other care providers to manage clinical situations.
