Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Southeast Ohio in Newark, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift. The unit provides critical illness recovery care with a strong orientation and opportunities for career growth.

Compensation ranges from $37.90 to $51.00 per hour, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus. We offer extensive education benefits, a 401(k), comprehensive medical coverage, PTO, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license is required.
• BLS certification required at hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Respond to rapid responses and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
