Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Southeast OH in Newark, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN night shifts with a $50.00 per hour compensation. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible applicants and the position features a per diem scheduling model with a minimum 4 shifts in a 6-week period.

Responsibilities include admissions/transfers, patient assessments, documentation, telemetry interpretation, and patient/family education, with rapid response and code event competence as essential

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required at hire.
• Preferred: Clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned
