Job summary

Shannon Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health, in Texas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our rehab team. The role emphasizes supervising care, leading patient assessments, and tailoring care plans to support patients on their recovery journey.

You will build meaningful relationships with patients and families, collaborate with multiple departments, and provide direct patient care when needed. This is a full-time opportunity in a supportive rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients and families to support recovery.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure coordinated care and provide direct patient care when needed.
