Job summary

5N Plus Semiconductors is seeking a Refining Operator 1 for a graveyard shift at our St. George, Utah facility. The role involves operating furnaces and refining equipment, performing recapture tasks, and ensuring safe, compliant production processes.

You will support engineering in continuous improvement and maintain a cooperative team environment, with 12-hour nights and potential overtime on weekends and holidays. A readiness to learn and adapt is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Past experience in mechanical or chemical type work is preferable.
• Basic math, measuring, tracking, and inspecting skills are needed.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite is expected.
• Experience with machine shop tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated hydrogen reduction furnaces, small melting furnaces, zone refiner and associated tools.
• Perform all production activities related to recapture and refining production.
• Collect and analyze water samples, monitor ion exchange filters, rinse and dry GeO2, and manage chemicals.
