You will follow laboratory procedures for specimen processing and handling, and prepare specimens for out-of-house testing, building loads for department work lists and locating archived specimens.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Previous lab or medical experience, a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen processing and handling.
• Prepare specimens to be sent out to reference laboratories for testing.
• Build loads for department work lists.
• Locate archived specimens.
