Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of recycling experience preferred.
• Certificates: CPR/AED/First Aid a plus; forklift certification may be required.
• Hazardous Waste Handling Training per RCRA may be required; safety trainings completed.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies and procedures.

• Use proper personal protective equipment; present professional appearance.
• Understand customer service, reporting systems and environment implications.
• Collect, salvage, and sort reusable or recycle materials; inspect and sort materials.
• Maintain dock and collection areas; work with multiple containers.
