Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a part-time Receiving Stores Attendant in Food Service for nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be responsible for receiving goods, verifying quantities, and ensuring proper storage and sanitation in the storeroom.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify weight, count, and quantity of merchandise.
• Handle food products according to proper food safety procedures.
• Document all delivery discrepancies on vendor invoice and logs.
• Fill requisitions with correct quantities and products requested.
• Deliver and store all received merchandise to the appropriate storage area; label and date items.
• Assist with daily and weekly inventories in selected areas.
• Prepare staples, cleaning supplies, and paper goods for requisition.
• Maintain and sanitize the receiving and storage areas and pantries with proper chemicals.
• Close the storage room area and perform other duties as required.
