Job summary

Pilkington North America Inc. is hiring for a MHE Reach Lift operator to support replenishment, staging, palletizing, and warehouse duties on a 3rd shift (Sunday Night - Thursday Night, 8:00pm - 4:30am).

The role requires 1 year of recent Reach Truck and sit-down forklift experience, ability to lift 35–70 pounds, and proficiency in English. The position involves stocking, scanning, receiving, and moving crates and glass components in a non-climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• 1 year recent Reach Truck and Sit-Down Forklift experience
• Ability to lift 35–45 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally
• Utilizing basic hand tools
• Excellent attendance record
• Good customer relations and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Completes other duties as necessary
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Stock workstation and assembly line (glass, molding and components)
• Stock banding area (banding, corners, fronts, tops, crates, separators, dunnage)
• Monitor cones to remove finished crates, replenish row glass and crates
• Follow the build schedule and ensure workstation and line run efficiently
• Split-con glass without using HUS on ROCA sheet
• Scan crates into locations as they move
• Empty dumpsters and ROCA racks, recyclables
• Put away finished glass and components used
• Use RDT to move HU’s from uncrating to open pick locations
• Operate reach truck and hand crates into open pick locations
• Replenish by moving crates from bulk to uncrating to be hung
• Receive by unloading crates and placing them in bulk locations
