Foster Farms is seeking a Ranch Supervisor to oversee fryers across the ranch, supervise staff, and ensure bird health and welfare. You will assist the Ranch Manager, manage costs, and maintain detailed records. This role requires leadership, organization, and readiness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Primary duties include coordinating growth of fryers, maintaining facilities, and enforcing company safety and animal welfare guidelines at the ranch complex.

Formación

• Must have completed the Chicken Grow Out Training Program.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong supervisory and leadership capabilities.
• Good mathematical and organizational skills.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime, evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Willingness to travel between ranches as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee ranch activities and functions of fryers and fryer ranch.
• Assist manager to direct grow-out of fryers including setup of ranch, brooding, temperatures, ventilation, mortality, vaccinations, medications.
• Maintain sanitation and bird health; report abnormalities to Manager or Field Supervisor.
• Maintain ranch facilities and record-keeping; monitor costs including labor, fuel, supplies, utilities and maintenance.
• Provide training and delegation of duties; enforce safety, animal welfare and disease prevention guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies affecting chickens day or night.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Move between ranches as needed.
