Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: medical terminology and prior patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients promptly with warmth and gathers/verifies demographics.
• Maintain a clean patient and working space and assist patients and families.
• Follow BH principles of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, and Communication.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per hospital policy.
• Assist in patient transfers and monitor safety during shifts.
• Keep patients informed of wait times and assist with interventional procedures as needed.
• Perform terminal and surface cleaning per infection control policies.
• Assist with clerical tasks including scheduling, record retrieval, and communication with patients.
