P&K Stone is seeking a skilled Night Maintenance Mechanic to join our Mill Creek operation. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs to keep our aggregate processing plant running safely and efficiently.

This role requires diagnosing issues, welding/fabrication, and coordinating with supervisors to minimize downtime. Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical background, experience with conveyors and crushers, and the ability to work independently on night shifts, with overtime and

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in aggregate/mining/heavy industrial operations.
• Ability to work safely in mining/quarry environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals and diagrams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work night shift, overtime and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair plant equipment and machinery.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors, crushers, screens, motors, bearings, pumps.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Weld, cut, fabricate, and install replacement parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety policies.
• Complete maintenance records and communicate concerns to supervisors.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs during shifts.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
