Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is hiring for an entry-level maintenance support role in the United States. You will assist seasoned mechanics, perform preventive maintenance on crushers and conveyors, and learn safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures while supporting daily quarry operations.

• Mechanical aptitude to learn equipment maintenance in an industrial setting.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools and maintenance equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced mechanics with inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing quarry equipment and mobile machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps and other production equipment.
• Learn safe maintenance practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and equipment operating standards.
• Support equipment reliability by identifying maintenance needs and reporting issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support efficient quarry operations.
