ROCKWOOL International A/S seeks a Quality Technician for its Byhalia, MS Factory on a night shift (5:00 PM–5:00 AM) with rotating days off. The role emphasizes safe operation, quality inspection, and reliable reporting of deficiencies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, manufacturing experience, and proficiency with measuring tools and MS Office. Responsibilities include visual quality checks, utilizing calipers and micrometers, ensuring equipment safety, and coordinating with

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements and works in a safe manner.
Self-motivated with drive and high energy to motivate others.
Able to read and understand written instructions and product specifications.
Familiar with data entry databases such as Access.
Experience with visual quality inspections.
Understanding Health & Safety requirements and ability to work in a safe manner.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Visually inspect material to ensure it meets quality specifications.
Report deficiencies and irregularities.
Separate waste.
Ensure proper functioning of equipment and safe removal of failures.
Plan efficient product changes.
Communicate unusual conditions and equipment issues to the cross-shift operator.
Complete shutdown tasks and procedures.
