Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Night Shift Quality Technician for the DuBois, PA site to ensure quality initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The night shift runs 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.

on a 2-2-3 schedule; initial training will be conducted during day shift hours. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining inspection reports, conducting routine quality inspections and audits, and supporting Root Cause Analysis and 5S projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASQ certification a plus.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Fluent in Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Use of precision measurement tools required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team-oriented work style.

Responsibilities

• Understand Sensus product design, materials, and manufacturing requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain inspection reports.
• Conduct routine quality inspections and analyze data.
• Perform product audits.
• Identify improvements in quality control processes.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis on internal or external concerns.
• Support Quality Engineers to meet objectives.
• Participate in 5S projects and safety meetings.
