Job summary

Shoals Technologies Group in Portland, TN is hiring a Quality Supervisor I for the 3rd shift to oversee quality control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will lead a team of inspectors, coordinate inspections, audits, and testing, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, with QA leadership experience or an associate degree, and strong skills in reading drawings, measurement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED, etc.).
• Associate degree preferred or 5 years quality leadership experience in lieu of degree.
• Quality Assurance experience and excellent communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assign work within their area with team members and managers.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
• Provide solutions to daily QC issues that do not require higher-level guidance.
• Ensure sufficient coverage with trained QC personnel.
• Verify QC staff perform duties correctly and maintain records.
• Attend daily operations meetings and report quality issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis of internal quality escapes.
• Ensure data entry into the SPC system.
