Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking a Quality Lead for the Brenham, TX night shift to guide quality operations on the floor and provide day-to-day direction to Quality Inspectors. The role ensures compliance with ISO 9001/ISO 14001 and supports continuous improvement while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with SPC/CAPA tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years quality experience in manufacturing.
• Experience providing work direction or informal leadership.
• ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 experience preferred; quality tools incl. SPC, CAPA and problem solving.
• Proficient with MS Office; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead night shift quality activities and serve as escalation point.
• Direct QA Inspectors and prioritize activities to support production and quality goals.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain to drive improvements.
