Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Quality Supervisor for the Night Shift to oversee nightly quality assurance and act as the plant's environmental contact. The role supports ISO, HARA, and BRCGS requirements, along with continuous improvement and KPI reporting.

The candidate will lead Quality Technicians, review data, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions while maintaining 5S and high housekeeping standards. Strong communication and SAP/SPC knowledge are desired.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or technical certification or relevant experience.
• Experience in administering and leading quality activities.
• Experience with quality policies, systems and procedures.
• Working knowledge of SPC.
• Experience with BRCGS auditing procedures is preferred.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and training skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent people skills, high energy and positive attitude.
• Knowledge of Food Safety, GMPs, and HARA Principles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze non-conforming data according to specs and sampling plan; drive corrective actions and inform production.
• Review daily quality records as third level of verification; support process control and defect catalogue.
• Lead the HFI process; manage NCRs, disposition, and rework activities.
• Assist production with troubleshooting and root-cause for customer claims and defects.
• Maintain quality documentation and records for BRCGS and ISO compliance.
• Provide training and update records and work instructions to Quality Technicians/Operators.
• Attain and maintain proficiency and qualification in all quality testing.
• Support ISO and BRCGS initiatives via procedures and audits.
• Assist in developing responses to audit findings.
• Establish and maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Lead Quality Technicians and/or MLT Operators including scheduling and documentation.
• Perform any other duty as required.
