Job summary

Krier Beverage in Kentucky is seeking a Lab Technician to ensure product quality and that finished goods meet customer specifications through testing and line verifications.

You will operate lab equipment, read specifications, perform sensory tests, and collaborate with production to maintain GMP compliance. This is a full-time night-shift role with a starting wage of $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Chemistry or related field preferred.
• Experience in laboratory or quality control required.
• Familiarity with GMP and food safety standards.
• Strong math and data entry skills.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate in accordance with GMP, safety and quality standards.
• Read and adhere to product specifications, including pH and caffeine where applicable.
• Conduct regular line checks and sampling to verify product quality.
• Identify and hold out-of-specification products.
• Perform sensory testing against standards.
• Calibrate lab instrumentation and maintain equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab areas.
• Complete quality documentation and batch records.
• Analyze batch attributes and approve batches for production.
