Job summary

Schaefer Plastics is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Inspector for 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shifts, seven days per week. You will inspect materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure dimensional and quality conformance in a high-volume injection molding environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, using precision tools, and documenting results with attention to detail. Prior quality experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specs and work instructions.
• Excellent measurement and math capabilities; accuracy is essential.
• Proficient in documenting results and maintaining records.
• Experience with standard inspection tools and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products for quality compliance.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges to verify dimensions and performance.
• Read blueprints and work instructions accurately.
• Identify and control non-conforming material in Quality Hold areas.
• Record results clearly and completely; support root-cause investigations.
