Job summary

Seaman Corporation in Wooster, OH seeks a Quality Control Lab Technician to join our Night shift team on a 4:3 rotation. This role reports to the QC Supervisor and ensures safe, efficient operation of the QC Lab.

Responsibilities include testing materials at various production stages, recording results, and supporting Lean Sigma initiatives. The position requires a high school diploma/GED and 1 year of related experience, with ability to lift up to 30 lb.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum one year related experience or training.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 30 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities including close and color vision.

Responsibilities

• Operate QC Lab safely and efficiently during shift.
• Test and inspect materials at stages of production to meet requirements.
• Maintain quality control documentation and data reports.
• Coordinate with Inspection and Shipping for special orders and timely shipment.
• Participate in Lean Sigma initiatives and 5S improvements.
