Job summary

The position involves night shifts (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule, NYS licensing considerations, and opportunities for professional growth within a leading nutrition company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a laboratory setting is required.
• College is highly preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in English: Comfortable with both written and verbal communication, including reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Operate lab testing instrumentation for moisture/solids, protein, fat, and pH.
• Ensure all instrumentation is used safely, efficiently, and sanitarily.
• Maintain NYS milk receiver, Appendix N and/or Phosphatase License as required.
• Ensure raw milk meets specifications and food safety standards.
• Perform daily quality checks and documentation on the plant floor.
• Conduct sensory evaluations of finished products as needed.
• Record data accurately in worksheets/logs; protect confidentiality of results.
