Job summary

Catalent's Winchester, Kentucky site is a flagship US manufacturing location for large scale oral dose forms with integrated development and analytical services. The Quality Control Analyst will perform day-to-day analytical work in a hands-on lab, generating and analyzing data, and maintaining records.

The role requires a scientific degree and 2+ years in a quality or lab setting; duties include running tests (Dissolution, HPLC, GC, FTIR), calibrating equipment, ensuring safety, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field required; chemistry/biology preferred.
• 2+ years in Quality, Laboratory, Clinical, or Chemical manufacturing role preferred.
• Able to lift and handle items up to 50 lbs; operate safely in a dynamic lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient analytical testing in accordance with USP/NF/EP/JP/FCC or customer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate written records of all analyses performed.
• Interpret and communicate analytical results and issues.
• Schedule daily tasks in an organized and efficient manner.
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment and instrumentation.
• Work safely and follow basic laboratory hygiene practices.
• Peer review of testing and write SOPs as needed.
• Support Catalent Pharma Solutions high performance.
