Job summary

Catalent, Inc. in Winchester, Kentucky is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform analytical testing across a range of methods and to maintain precise records. The role is on-site and requires strict adherence to safety and GMP guidelines while supporting routine QC tasks.

The candidate will contribute to timely results, operate and calibrate lab instruments, and assist with SOPs as needed to uphold Catalent's high-performance manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field required (Chemistry or Biology preferred). Alternate degrees with 2+ years in a material testing lab may be accepted.
• 2+ years in Quality, Laboratory, Clinical, or Chemical manufacturing role preferred.
• Assisting with lifting liquid containers and operating safely in a dynamic lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient, reliable analytical testing per USP/NF/EP/JP/FCC guidelines or customer specs.
• Maintain accurate written records of analyses and communicate results clearly.
• Schedule daily tasks and calibrate/maintain lab equipment.
• Follow basic laboratory chemical hygiene practices and perform peer reviews as needed.
• Prepare SOPs when required and support Catalent Pharma Solutions high performance.
