Job summary

Nefab PolyFlex, part of the Nefab Group, is seeking a Quality Auditor to join the McMinnville, TN facility. You will resolve quality issues during production, review First Article dimensions, and approve start-up jobs per standard procedures.

You will report to the Quality Lead, support training, assist APQP/PPAP processes, inspect containers, and escalate non-conformances. Five+ years in manufacturing/quality and at least two years of leadership are required; formal education is a bonus but not

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in a manufacturing/quality function.
• Additional training in quality methods, tools and techniques.
• Formal education is a bonus but not required.
• Two+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Resolve quality issues during production runs.
• Review First Article dimensions and complete a first part approval per standard procedure on all start up jobs.
• Inspect last tagged part in containers delivered to final audit per standard procedure.
• Report any problems or discrepancies to the shift supervisor, Plant Manager and Quality Lead.
• Enter a non-conformance for any defective or mislabeled product and place a hold tag on containers.
• Move defective product to the Quality Hold area for disposition.
• Contribute to plant quality and quality processes, assist with the training program for new Quality personnel and assist in the APQP/PPAP process.
• Oversee quality operations in the manufacturing facility and ensure auditors perform to standard.
