Job summary

Garner Foods is seeking a Quality Technician for night shift to perform routine inspections and ensure products meet quality standards. You will operate lab equipment, monitor production lines, document results, and adjust processes to maintain specs.

This role requires an associates degree or 3 years QA experience, knowledge of GMP/FDA/SQF/HACCP, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while upholding safety and accuracy on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3 years of QA experience preferred.
• Prior manufacturing or food/beverage QA experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA, SQF, HACCP regulations preferred.
• Ability to work in a wet, non-climate-controlled environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Report for shift on time and wear appropriate attire.
• Inspect products and materials using testing methods and equipment.
• Set up and operate laboratory equipment safely per specs.
• Monitor and report on incoming products and materials for quality.
• Validate product information and report defects.
• Enter information in the computer system and maintain logs.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, sanitary workplace.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
