Job summary

Nylabone is seeking a Lab Technician to support scientists in the development of new products and testing of new ingredients. The role involves sample prep, analysis, data collection, and general lab maintenance in a dog chew and treat production facility.

The position emphasizes adherence to GMP, accurate documentation, and the ability to work in a production environment, with a focus on safety and quality assurance in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in an analytical/QC lab role.
• BS in Chemistry or other science.
• Proficient in GMP, pipetting, and basic lab techniques.
• Able to meet the requirements of a dynamic production environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample collection and testing in a production facility.
• Collect and analyze data; document analytical conditions and results.
• Calibrate checks and perform routine instrument maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of sample data and conditions.
• Oversee inventory of lab supplies to match sample volume.
• Ensure safe handling of laboratory waste per regulations.
