Job summary

Stir Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support food safety by performing SOPs, lab analyses, and daily HACCP verifications on the production floor in Fullerton, CA. The role includes data entry, records review, and cooperation with USDA inspectors to ensure product safety and quality.

Responsibilities include plant sanitation, environmental testing, equipment calibration, and maintaining inspection files while contributing to continuous improvement efforts under the QA Manager.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Op and operational sanitation plant inspection.
• Perform ATP and environmental swabs.
• Chemically and physically analyze products in-process and finished items: pH, Aw, TA, BX, viscosity, color, organoleptic.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment and verify temperatures.
• Maintain lab equipment, materials, and safety procedures.
• Review HACCP verifications and records; prepare reports.
• Interface with USDA inspectors and implement corrective actions.
• Train staff on hygienic handling and GMPs.
