Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in quality assurance or 6 months WayneSanderson Farms employee.
• Intermediate math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and computer skills.
• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, coordinate with Production & QA teams to ensure proper handling of products.
• Monitor lines and paperwork to ensure product specification compliance.
• Verify and enforce GMPs and accurate labeling, codes, and packaging.
• Confirm incoming raw materials meet specifications and notify QA team if not.
• Assist with day-to-day quality issues to reach workable solutions.
• Ensure microbiological swabs are performed at correct times and positions and safety policies followed.
