Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings USA in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor for PVCO extrusion operations from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am on a 2/2/3 rotation. You’ll kick off the shift huddle, set safety priorities, review SAP line performance, and walk the floor to confirm changeover readiness.

You’ll apply 5-Why problem solving, coordinate with Maintenance on improvements, coach operators, and maintain SPC charts to ensure quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing/production; PVC/PVCO extrusion experience preferred.
• 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Solid grasp of production processes, workflow optimization, and operations performance.
• Working knowledge of safety protocols and manufacturing best practices.
• Familiarity with SAP, SPC, or related production reporting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct nightly production activities to achieve safety, quality, and throughput targets.
• Champion safety standards; lead toolbox talks, trainings, inspections, and investigations with follow-ups.
• Apply 5-Why and related tools to eliminate root causes and improve processes.
• Balance staffing, monitor workflow, and tune line settings to minimize downtime.
• Complete shift documentation: reports, SAP entries, and SPC charts.
• Provide hands-on guidance and troubleshooting for production teammates.
• Collaborate with Maintenance/Engineering on upgrades and modifications.
• Lead product changeovers to reduce disruption and waste.
