Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable Pump Technician to join our team in Murphy, NC. You will operate a service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks for residential and commercial customers, following safety protocols and DOT regulations.

You’ll perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete required paperwork promptly, and provide excellent customer service while working independently in the field. A Class A/B CDL is required, with Tanker endorsement a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Class A or B CDL is required.
• Tanker Endorsement a plus.
• DOT drug screen, physical, and road test required.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate service truck and vacuum equipment to pump septic tanks.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Provide professional customer service and educate customers on system care.
• Identify hazardous conditions and report issues and options.
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls as needed.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
• Represent Wind River Environmental in the field.
