Qualifications

• Security Officer healthcare certification (CHSO) must be obtained within 2 years
• Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license required to carry a taser
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Provides security services professionally and ethically to protect patients, visitors and staff
• Performs interior and exterior patrols to identify hazards and enforce safety rules
• Responds to emergencies and de-escalates threats
• Investigates incidents and completes timely reports
• Liaises with law enforcement and coordinates security operations
