Job summary
The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Mental Health Registered Nurse for the night shift. This full-time role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, a base pay of $45–$50 per hour plus shift differentials, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.
Night schedule is 7pm–7am, onsite with tuition assistance and daily pay options. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and evaluating care plans, administering medications, and coordinating with a treatment team
Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
- One or more years nursing experience within clinical area.
- Behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery experience preferred.
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.
- Ability to apply nursing standards in an acute psychiatric setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs and developing care plans.
- Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
- Transcribe and review provider orders, ensuring accuracy per policy.
- Administer medications using at least two patient identifiers and monitor responses.
- Communicate hand-offs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
