Job summary

Outcome HC seeks a full-time, night shift Registered Nurse (Psych) to join our Berkeley Heights facility. The RN will perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop care plans, monitor vitals, and coordinate with physicians and pharmacy to ensure timely treatment.

The role requires strong collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, accurate documentation in the EHR, and experience in psychiatric care. NJ RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing and licensed by the state of NJ as a RN.
• Current CPR or certified within 90 days of hire
• Other certifications may be required for other areas of the organization

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing and mental health assessments
• Develop care plans and medical/psychiatric treatment plans for clients
• Obtain vitals and recognize abnormalities
• Record all care information accurately and completely within 24 hours in the EHR
• Triage clients for Psychiatric APN assessments/appointments
• Liaison with pharmacy for medication fills/deliveries
• Crisis de-escalation
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to address treatment needs
