Job summary

Montage Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Psychiatry/Behavioral Health unit in Monterey, CA. You will plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care consistent with hospital policies, and support staff and students, with potential relief charge nurse duties as assigned.

The role requires a California RN license, BLS, and at least one year of experience with adult psychiatric and chemical dependency patients. A BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience with adult psychiatric and chemical dependency patients as a registered nurse.
• CA RN license required.
• BLS required.
• ANCC Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Board Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care according to hospital policies.
• Assist with new staff orientation and provide clinical guidance.
• Support students and assume relief charge nurse duties as oriented.
