Pilgrim’s Maintenance Lead Person is responsible for directing the maintenance department and supporting supervisors in daily operations at the Protein Conversion plant. The role requires hands-on leadership of technicians, adherence to safety standards, and timely maintenance execution.

The position emphasizes electrical, mechanical, and plumbing troubleshooting, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maintaining accurate maintenance records. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–5 years of directly related experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a maintenance team of technicians and assign daily tasks.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance work.
• Assist Production needs when time permits and as needed.
