Pilgrim’s Edinburg plant seeks a Maintenance Lead to head the maintenance team in the Protein Conversion facility. You will supervise technicians, assign daily tasks, and ensure preventive maintenance scripts are followed to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and a commitment to safety. The position includes coordinating with other departments, reading detailed blueprints, and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

• Lead and supervise a maintenance team, assigning daily tasks to complete work quickly and safely.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and defects.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and plan repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing problems to find durable solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance work.
• Perform timely repairs and routine maintenance.
• Handle emergency and unplanned problems and repairs effectively.
• Read complex blueprints, piping sketches and schematics for accurate work.
• Use power tools, saws, drills, impacts, grinders and other equipment safely.
• Inspect gearboxes, motors, belts and other operating devices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Maintenance Department and assist supervisors in daily plant operations.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks to minimize production downtime.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose issues and implement effective repairs.
• Collaborate with Production and other teams to plan downtime and clean handoffs.
• Maintain thorough maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
