Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, seeks a Project Superintendent to manage day-to-day field operations, ensuring contract compliance, safety, and cost-effective execution. You will coordinate with Zone Superintendents and the Project Manager to implement service plans and supervise crew performance on heavy civil projects.

The role requires 3–5 years in skilled trades/engineering and 1 year of leadership, with the ability to read plans and manage subcontractors. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of skilled trade/engineering experience in road, bridge or heavy civil projects.
• At least 1 year of successfully leading people or crews.
• Ability to read and interpret roadway, bridge and contract plans.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and field inspection practices.
• Proactive in coordinating with project management and assets control.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Zone Superintendents to ensure contract compliance and timely completion.
• Determine best approach for asset control, sourcing subcontractors, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor financial and operational performance; prepare reports for management.
• Provide technical supervision and guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
• Review work schedules, budgets, and safety plans with PM and Zone Superintendents.
• Inspect ongoing work and verify adherence to contract requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure effective communication across teams.
